Private Civil Service Program

Through the Private Civil Service Program, individuals will be authorized to serve non-enforceable civil papers within Flagler County. Those seeking service for all non-enforceable civil service will contract directly with an appointed Special Process Server.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is currently recruiting, screening, and appointing Special Process Servers.

Non-enforceable civil processes include the following:

  • Notice of Hearing
  • Notice of involuntary assessment
  • Rule to show cause (Divorce, Replevin, Forfeiture)
  • Subpoena Duces Tecum
  • Summons
  • Witness Subpoena
  • Eviction Summons

The Sheriff’s Office will continue to serve all enforceable service of process items.
